Recent Kentucky UFO sightings

Louisville — On June 2011, 11 PM, this was reported to 911 and Fox 41 News. We live near the airport; but what we saw was not normal behavior for aircraft. My seven year old child and I saw what appeared to be an orange color hot air balloon like the moon when it appears close to earth? We literally saw flames just like on a hot air balloon but it was much too large to be a balloon. It moved at a steady pace toward the river far too quickly and steadily to be a balloon. It just glowed steadily with what looked to be flames on the bottom of it.

Kentucky UFO Hotbed

Lexington -- Did you know Kentucky is considered a "hotbed" for UFO sightings? According to the state director of MUFON, an organization that investigates the sightings, our state just may be a very popular destination for advanced alien life.

UFO sightings

There have been a few UFO sightings in W.Va. and Ky. I get reports or check the internet. I saw one published on UFO Digest and I need to followup on a phone number I received about some multiple sightings in Philipi, W.Va. Ky. and Tenn. have also continued to have some UFO sightings. DVD on Gray Barker

My friend Bob Wilkinson of WPBY and a filmmaker produced this DVD on Gray Barkers, one of the early UFO writers and investigators. He was from West Virginia. This is an excellent video. You can purchase it at the link below.

Virginia UFO - military jets follow

Sterling -- On April 14, 2011, my phone rings and it is my 20 year old son who was about two miles away at a friend's home. He next asks me, "Did I hear that plane? I quickly moved outside and continued the conversation and told him there were no jet sounds at my location. His description was that of two low flying military jets hitting their afterburners above the residential homes. The jets shook the foundations and rattled the window frames forcing the occupants to step outside to see if a plane was in distress. He then described over the phone only hearing the jets and never physically seeing them.

Tennessee UFO sighting

Lavergne -- On April 13, 2011, driving home I saw this and stopped. I had a feeling to just look up and when I did they were there. They just hovered and never moved. I took a picture. There are two objects. They are both close to the trees in the picture to the left. Then when I got home there was one hovering over my house with a red ring of lights around it. It disappeared like in the movies. I'm leaning more towards time travelers than aliens.

More Kentcuky sightings

Lexington -- On April 13, 2011, I was out in my back yard when a white flash caught my eye. It was flashing brightly and I then noticed another object off to its left moving in a similar manner. I observed for several minutes and asked my son to grab my camera. Within a minute the two objects got side by side both still flashing white.

I ran to get my camera and outside I found another object to the east and I snapped a few photos before I lost sight of it behind the trees. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Another Kentucky sighting

From Filers Files newsletter
Richmond, Ky. -- On April 4, 2011, I was enjoying the country life and driving to see my family in the beautiful sunset. I asked my daughter to take a photograph of the sunset for me, but when we examined them the next day we noticed the bright star in the upper right corner of all the shots. Much to my surprise, it was not a big bright star but clearly a big bright white triangle shaped object.
Upon further examination, I noticed that directly below the triangle, to the right of the light post, is a black circle object that does not look like a plane or helicopter.

Spoke to 4th graders at Riverside Elementary School

I had the chance to speak to 4th grade students today at Riverside Elementary School in Williamson. They were very informed about writing.
They were a captive audience and ask some good questions. The two teachers were Tonya Hatcher and Jennifer Sparks, and they both have done a wonderful job with their students.
I hope to go back sometime and check out some of the writing samples the 4th graders have done.
