Williamson author to appear at Huntington as bookstore celebrates state's birthday

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. - In honor of West Virginia's 148th birthday week, Huntington Mall Borders will host a special Mountain State Celebration featuring a variety of Mountain State writers. The event is being held Sat., June 25, from 3 - 6 p.m. 

Appearing at the local bookstore will be 2009 Bram Stoker Award-Winning editor and writer Michael Knost. Joining Knost will be Mingo County UFOlogist, alien investigator and writer Kyle Lovern and best-selling regional author F. Keith Davis. 

"It's amazing the amount of literary talent we have right here in West Virginia," Knost said. "We are especially honored to be invited to this gathering that celebrates our state's birth and state writers."

West Virginia published titles being featured and personally autographed during the event will include Specters In Coal Dust; The Legends of the Mountain State (volumes 1-4); Dark Tales of Terror; Appalachian Winter Hautings; Appalachian Case Study: UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters and Unexplained Phenomena (volumes 1 and 2); The Secret Life and Brutal Death of Mamie Thurman; and the Feuding Hatfields & McCoys.
