Kyle Lovern is a nationally respected UFO researcher and author. He has penned two groundbreaking titles: Appalachian Case Study: UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters and Unexplained Phenomena, volumes 1 and 2.
He is also a longtime journalist in southern West Virginia, working in both newspaper and radio. As an award-winning writer and reporter, his work has been published in a variety of forms and publications.
His expertise is as a news reporter; yet, he has also covered county and state sporting events and, for many years, served as a popular newspaper columnist in southern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky.
His features, articles and photographs have been published in Golden Seal Magazine, Wild, Wonderful West Virginia Magazine and other distinguished publications.
Lovern was born and reared in rural Mingo County, West Virginia, in the small community of Nolan. He is a graduate of Williamson High School, Southern West Virginia Community College, and Bluefield State College.
He and his wife, Vicki, reside in Williamson, West Virginia. They have three grown children and three granddaughters.
He has had a lifelong fascination with UFOs and the possibility that aliens have visited our planet.
