AURS - Appalachian UFO Research Society organized

Hey folks, I have formed a new group - AURS - Appalachian UFO Research Society with four other people from southern W.Va. and eastern Ky. Together we hope to investigate any good UFO sightings in Appalachian - at least in our region.
We have a Facebook page which we would like you to join. You can contact us on there or here on my website.
Since there are not many organizations - especially in our region - to report a UFO sighting or incident, I wanted to form this group to make it easier for citizens to do so.

Year of UFOs, 1952, may play role in Disney movie ‘Tomorrowland’

The Disney movie currently under development, “Tomorrowland,” has been surrounded by a few mysteries.
“Tomorrowland” was originally titled “1952” and the story was rumored to be related to an old storage box found at the Disney studios. The box was labeled “1952” and contained photos, books and other items related to Walt Disney’s activities.
There was speculation that the movie could be about long-standing claims by Disney insiders that high-ranking U.S. officers approached Walt Disney in the ‘50s to make a film about the realities of UFOs, intelligent visitors from elsewhere and related aspects of the situation.

An unidentified flying object (UFO) was spotted hovering near Williamson on Tuesday afternoon and there were several witnesses who watched it.

The Daily News got several calls about the UFO which appeared southeast of downtown. The autumn sky was a clear, bright blue with sunshine.

The 2012 Kecksburg Old Fashioned Days & UFO Festival will be held July 28th and 29th, at the fire department festival grounds in Kecksburg, PA, located in Mount Pleasant Township. This will be the seventh annual such festival founded by the Kecksburg volunteer fire department. Join us for this two day event that will feature many special events including a parade, classic car show, and their famous Burn Out Contest.
